I have had a genuine appreciation for animals my entire life. During high school I spent my weekends volunteering at the Nanaimo SPCA. The experience was life changing and I knew I was meant to choose a career where I would be working with animals. Straight out of high school I found an amazing opportunity to move to Victoria, BC in order to complete a highly respected dog training course where I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. After moving back to Nanaimo I gained valuable experience working with all types of temperaments and breeds in a Doggy Daycare. As time passed I was eager to learn even more, which lead me to start my training in the basics of dog bathing and brushing. I spent the next two years observing and working as a dog bather in a successful grooming salon. In January of 2010 I was more than ready to follow my true passion of dog grooming. Three hard working months later I became a Certified Professional Dog Groomer and have been loving it ever since!
